The Holiday Club Are is situated in Are, in Sweden. There is a snack bar and a restaurant on-site, and the city centre is a short drive away. During the winter season there are several ski slopes open nearby for downhill and cross country skiing. The nearest airport is Ostersund Airport which is 53 miles away. To get to the resort from Ostersund take E14 towards Are, approx. 80 kms. On arrival in Are, drive through the centre until you reach Tegefjall. Turn off the main road and drive to Tegetornet, where keys can be collected at the central tower. There is a choice of 2 bedroom units for 4 with twin beds and bunk beds and 3 bedroom units for six with twin beds and two bunkbeds. Bedrooms with bunkbeds are very small. All units have a fully equipt kitchen with dishwasher, tv, fireplace, drying cabin for ski clothes and a private sauna. Smoking is not permitted in the units. A car is necessary to enjoy the area. Please inform resorts beforehand of any late arrivals. Your key will be left in a mailbox outside the reception at tegetornet. Many restaurants and facilities might be closed outside ski season. The centre is approximately 4 kms away. There is also a refundable deposit.
